I might be a bit late in the game when it comes to eliminating harmful chemical cleaners from our household – I finally took the leap and invested in Young Living Essential Oils last month and I’m HOOKED! My dear friend Devin wrote a guest post here on how to clean with essential oils and I decided to create some cleaners of my own and came up with an awesome chemical-free car wash Cleaning kit for Father’s Day with Free Printables… and I’m including the essential oils recipes so you can make a kit of your own! Go here to pick up your Young Living Essential Oils starter kit of your own!
My favorite chemical-free cleaning products to use (other than essential oils) are from Norwex. I discovered Norwex while shopping at a home event right after we bought our house two years ago. We had these amazing hard-wood floors installed in our new house and I wasn’t sure what product I should use to clean them. After seeing a demonstration of the Norwex products, I decided to try the mop and cloths and they are now the only products I use to clean a majority of my home!
When I heard that Norwex had a car wash mitt, I knew it would be the perfect addition to create a chemical-free car wash kit. The Norwex window cloth has the best window cleaning results I’ve ever seen… so much that I haven’t used Windex in years! In fact, since I started using essential oils combined with Norwex, we don’t have a single toxic chemical cleaner in our home.

All-Purpose (Thieves) Cleaner Recipe:
- 16 oz of Distilled Water
