I gained a few pounds since I started working from home 2 months ago. I usually don’t step on the scale because I’m more focused on how my clothes fit than how much I weigh, so I really don’t remember the last time I weighed myself. I just know that I gained weight while my diet and exercise didn’t change. In fact, I’m more active NOW that I’m working from home.
No matter why or how I gained these extra pounds, I was determined to loose them. For many people, getting motivated to exercise is hard work. Finding the time is another obstacle.
It just happened that one morning, I really wanted to workout, but I wasn’t getting out from under those cozy blankets… until I went on Pinterest and did a search for “fitness motivation” and man did some harsh pictures show up. One quote said something like “Do you want to be fat this summer or fit?” Well, it got me out of bed and I started my workout program that day.
That was 5 weeks ago and since then I’ve worked out every single day – doing my favorite at-home workout videos, Beach Body’s T25, and I’m loving the results! My goal is to finish the T25 workouts through the full 12 weeks. I’m in week 5 so that’s only 7 weeks left. I’ve also set a goal to start 21 Day Fix Extreme after that.
I have to admit that those fitness posters on Pinterest really did it for me. They gave me the motivation to get up and start, and to keep going. So I decided to put together a few motivational printables that I can hang right on the wall where I workout as a reminder. You can print these out to for free by signing up below!
