Hello Hello! We are finished with our Holiday gift shopping so I’ve been focused on creating some handmade gifts for the caregivers and service workers who support us throughout the year. I plan to make my grandmother’s cookie recipe for the delivery vendors at my office, but will embellish with something crafty, hehe.
As for the many teachers and care givers that support our two little ones, I designed this paper-cut Apple Ornament Gift Card holder which is available in our Digital Resource Library to print for free!

We give the kid’s care takers/teachers a gift card every year but I like to make them something handmade to go along with it. This year I designed this Apple Ornament that says “Live, Love, Teach” with an open pocket in the back to place a gift card.
I used heavy chipboard so the ornament will be durable for years to come and red satin ribbon (twine would look nice too). Print the free download, cut the 2 apple shapes and glue the outer-edges ONLY to create the gift card pocket.
Inserting a small picture of your child in the credit card pocket would be adorable as well. I packaged mine in cellophane bags and added a simple To/From tag (tied to the ribbon with red/white twine) and included a gift card.
