Growing your social media following can be challenging (as a new blogger or experienced). When I first started blogging, I was coached to focus on growing one or two social media accounts at a time to reduce the overwhelm. While I find that is great advice, there was still a struggle of how to grow those one or two accounts! In this post, I teach you 3 Blogging Hacks That’ll Increase Your Social Media Followers Quickly!
Increase Your Blog Social Media Followers With These 3 Hacks
Want to increase your blog social media followers quickly? By following these 3 hacks, you should start to see a gradual increase in your followers’ overtime.
I use this strategy to grow my Pinterest and Facebook accounts quickly and then switched my focus to growing my Instagram account.
Pinterest is my #1 social media traffic generator so I focused on growing that channel before growing others. Check your Google Analytics to see which social media avenue brings the most traffic and I’d suggest focusing on growing that account first.

The MiloTree Pop up is easy to install and takes no effort at all. Simply go here to start your MiloTree account and add your social media accounts that you want to promote on your blog.
For the first 2 years I was blogging, I promoted Pinterest on my MiloTree Popup 😮
There is a small cost to this popup but it’s well worth it!
The Hello Bar plugin can do more than just grow your social media followers. I’ve used it to promote sales, giveaways, opt-ins, free courses, and so much more!
Hello Bar is free to use and you can modify the colors and text to suit your blog.
If you don’t have a great mailing list provider, I highly recommend ConvertKit. You can get your first 14-days FREE when you sign up through my special link 😉
How did ConvertKit help me grow my social media followers?
If you subscribe to my blog, you received a “welcome” email from me which contained this little blurb…
Say “Hi” on social media. Let’s take this relationship up a notch! Because I share even more secret tips and tricks on social media. Take two seconds to join me on your favorite platforms…

- Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/simplemadeprettyblog/
- Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/simplemadepretty/
- Twitter – https://twitter.com/SMPBlogger
All I did was include that little blurb in every welcome email that I send to new subscribers and they click and follow! It’s really that easy!
These 3 resources help me increase my blog social media followers quickly. If you can increase your social media followers, you will have more opportunities with sponsors and more ways to drive traffic to your blog while creating raving fans.
