Christmas Dining Table Decorations
The breakfast room is the only eating area in our home because we use our dining room as a home office (the hubby and I both work from home). We also have a kitchen bar with 4 bar stools but this eat-in kitchen is the space we use daily for dining.
The round table is a Craigslist find from several years ago and desperately needs to be restained as you can see in some of these photos! You might think the distressed tabletop was done on purpose but nope, that’s just from daily use and having 2 kids!
I decorated the DIY Dollar Tree Mug Racks and chandelier with Dollar Tree Christmas garland (I spray painted it white for a flocked look) with some fairy lights and $1 gnome wreath picks.
I love decorating these Farmhouse Mug Racks every season since I have a lot of mugs and these look perfect in our tiny kitchen! You can find the tutorial to make the 4-foot flocked Christmas tree on Simple Made Pretty Members (it was only $6!).
On the wall opposite the door, I hung my DIY small farmhouse ladder with a vintage Christmas Countdown Calendar. This fabric Calendar was my family’s Christmas Calendar as a child and is a collectible from Avon 1987.

Kitchen Christmas Decor
I kept our Christmas decor simple in the kitchen and placed some gingerbread houses on the shelves with some mini trees and my popular DIY Dollar Store Christmas Farmhouse Signs.
Here’s a view I never shared before… our kitchen into the family room. The lights above the bar are a Dollar Tree DIY that can be found on Simple Made Pretty Members.
The Gnome wreaths on the over-sized chalkboards are a Dollar Store DIY that you can find the tutorial for in this post.
The black farmhouse sconce lights above the chalkboard signs are an exclusive DIY on Simple Made Pretty Members.

Christmas Hot Cocoa Bar Decor, S’mores Bar Decorations, Wine Bar Decorations
I decorated the shelves above our Wine bar with Rae Dun canisters and my own Rae Dun decals (you can purchase the set in my shop here and watch the video to apply the decals in this Instagram post here).
Since we don’t have a lot of space in our home, the bar is a combination beverage bar for a Hot Cocoa Station, S’mores Station, and Wine/Drink Bar. I might consider adding the coffee maker to this area if we had a smaller coffee machine.
The White Christmas Tree countdown sign is a Dollar Tree DIY and you can find the tutorial in this post.

Family Room Christmas Decorations
Our Family room Christmas decor is mostly neutral colors with a rustic decor style. Our King of Christmas Tree is the heart of the room and gives me all the Christmas feels!
We have the 7-foot Prince Flocked Christmas Tree from King of Christmas and it is magnificent! I really wanted a flocked Christmas tree this year and I’m so glad I went with King of Christmas. Their trees are very high-quality compared to similar Christmas trees found at your local big-box stores.
I used Dollar Tree shadow box frames to make my own Printable Christmas Signs using this easy tutorial and I decorated our tree with these signs! If you have a large tree, I recommend decorating it with signs like these!
Our fireplace is fake and you can learn How to Build a Faux Fireplace in this post.
I designed these Free Printable Wood Stocking Tags this year and you can print them in a brown wood or white wood tag!
I also shared How to Sew Christmas stocking last year in this post and I shared How to Make No-Sew Christmas Stockings in this post this year!
The insert for our fireplace is just a piece of chalkboard vinyl!

Entryway Christmas Decor
I started decorating our entryway early but didn’t finish this area until a week before Christmas. The entryway and mudroom are always the most cluttered because that’s the dumping spot when coming home and leaving. I’m glad we have this shelf in the entryway because we only use it for decor, not storage!
Those hooks are old from Hobby Lobby (I’m not sure if they still sell them).
The Christmas Tree Farm Sign was one of the first Christmas DIY ideas I shared this season and you can find the video tutorial in this post!
The Red Truck is from Tuesday Morning and I placed some Bottle Brush Trees from Hobby Lobby in the bed.
The mini Tree is 2 Dollar Tree trees tied together and placed in a Christmas vase from Kirklands.
The Red Lanterns are from Ikea several years ago.
The Christmas Countdown Sign is a Dollar Tree DIY that you can find here.
The bench in our entryway is old from Home Goods.
This is where I keep our picnic basket (you never know when you’ll need it living so close to the beach!) and I placed these cute $3 Target One Spot Buffalo Plaid baskets with some Trees wrapped with buffalo plaid fat quarters from Walmart.
The pillows are both DIYs… the buffalo plaid pillow is a Placemat from Dollar Tree (you can find a similar tutorial here) and the other is a Dish Towel from Target (you can find a similar tutorial here). My 9-year old daughter hand-sewed the North Pole Pillow Cover herself!
The basket wall is opposite the bench wall and I decorated the baskets with Dollar Tree floral pieces.
The Welcome sign is a Target One Spot DIY that you can find in this Instagram post.

Mudroom Christmas Decor, Laundry Room Christmas Decor
I wasn’t going to decorate our mudroom for Christmas but I’m so glad I did! I added warm white Christmas lights and garland to the shelf above the laundry machines and it’s the perfect Christmas decor for this tiny space. I love arriving home and walking through the garage door to the twinkling lights in the mudroom.
The Floral Wallpaper is Dollar Tree Contact Paper and you can find a tutorial here.
On the opposite wall, I cleaned up all the coats and bags and made room for some no-sew homemade Christmas Stockings.
The Nativity Sign is made with my Cricut and you can find the Free Nativity SVG file here.
The pillows below are homemade… the buffalo plaid pillow is made using a $1 tablecloth from Walmart and the village pillow is made using a Target One Spot Dish Towel (find a similar tutorial here).
I added a homemade canvas sign, a Dollar Tree wreath with some homemade farmhouse beads.
The JOYFUL sign is a free printable that you can find here.
These upper cabinets were repurposed from our kitchen and are painted with Gray Ghalked Paint. The baskets are from Marshall’s.
The Pipe Style shelf brackets are one of my most requested finds on Instagram and I’ve used them in 3 different rooms in our house!

Living Room Christmas Decor
Our Christmas living room is a small space (this is actually the dining room in our home!) and I decorated with red buffalo plaid to make it cozy for Christmas and winter. This is my favorite room to watch movies. It is really the coziest spot in the house and the best for snuggling and enjoying your favorite Christmas movies.
The DIY Dollar Tree Sock Gnome tutorial can be found in this post and is one of my most popular DIY projects from this year!
The Mrs. Claus Cookie Company Sign is a Free Printable that you can download here.
The Rag Tie Garland DIY tutorial can be found here. Be sure to watch the video because it’s so easy to make for any season!
I painted some Dollar Tree reindeer with Charcoal chalked paint and placed on this Tiered Tray with some DIY Microsoft Word Farmhouse Dollar Tree Signs and Christmas themed mini rolling pins (get the rolling pin decals in my shop here!)
On the sofa wall, I used the DIY wooden wall light sconces (find the tutorial in this post!) and placed some small Christmas trees in the vases with a Dollar Tree red truck ornament.
The Oh Christmas Tree farmhouse sign is a $1 GIFT BAG hack and you can find the tutorial here.
The Gnome Tree Topper is also a Dollar Tree DIY that you can find here.
The wall is Sharpie Shiplap and you can watch a video to learn how to DIY sharpie Shiplap in this post.
The Gnome pillow is a Cloth Gift Sack turned into a pillowcase and the DIY video can be found in this post.
The Rae Dunn Ornaments are a Dollar Tree DIY and you can download the Free SVG file here or BUY the Decals in my shop here.
The Deer head pillow is a Cricut Maker Machine DIY from a few years ago (I still love it) and you can find the tutorial here.

Master Bedroom Christmas Decor
I didn’t do much decorating in the bedrooms this year but I always like to add a little something to our master bedroom decor. I made this huge sign using this SVG file and this Wood Sign Tutorial.
I stenciled this wall in our master bedroom this year and you can find the full tutorial and video in this post.
This year, the hubby built another Faux fireplace for our bedroom and I stained it (you can find the full tutorial here).
I decorated the fireplace with some DIY Christmas Stockings (no-sew and sew DIY here) and added the free printable faux wood Christmas Stocking tags found here.
The nativity sign is a Cricut DIY and you can download the Free SVG file here.
I filled the fireplace with my Printable Farmhouse Stamped Book Covers (most of these are not books but DVD cases!) wrapped with various ribbons.
I placed some farmhouse candlesticks from Tuesday Morning and battery-operated candles inside the fireplace and that was pretty much it for this room!

Craft Room Christmas Decor
This is the first time I’m sharing a picture of my entire craft room! Earlier this year I decided to revamp our Office/Living room/Dining room and I moved my desk from the dining room into the living room. Try to stay with me here since this might sound confusing… this room is supposed to be the formal living room and the Living room that I shared above (the one with my dog sleeping on the floor in front of the TV) is supposed to be our dining room.
Well, since the hubby and I both work from home and we already have an eat0in kitchen and kitchen bar eating area, we decided to use the Dining Room as our office.
Then, after 9 months with our desks back to back, I decided I needed more room and the hubby helped me build the kid’s desks and my desk in the center of the room.
The bookcases are from Ikea, the white baskets are from Ikea, and the round baskets at the top are from Tuesday Morning.
I used a Buffalo Plaid Tablecloth from Walmart on my desk as flare (and to cover up all the crap I have stored under it!
In the corner of the room I have more bookcases (also from Ikea) and the bins are Dollar Tree Burlap Wrapped Bins with My Printable Home Organization Labels. The Black Bins are old from Ikea (they no longer carry them).
The Floral Wallpaper is Dollar Tree Contact Paper and you can find a tutorial here.
You can see the Before and After Picture for the French Doors in this post. We added these doors and it’s used to be an open hallway!
My hubby built the Tree box but I asked him to build a better one next year so I will not be sharing the tutorial for that 🙁

Outdoor Christmas Decor
Sadly, this is the only picture I took of our outdoor Christmas decor this year. We painted our home’s exterior the week after Thanksgiving and between rain and other reasons, we didn’t do much decorating the outside this year. We are still working on many updates to the outside of our home. I hope by next Christmas these will all be completed and you will see all the outdoor Christmas decorations!
Our porch Christmas decor is really simple using $5 4-foot trees that I flocked myself (you can find the tutorial on Simple Made Pretty Members) and wreaths I used from previous years decorated with Red Buffalo Plaid bows that I made myself.
The tutorial for the bows can be found at Simple Made Pretty Members.
