Is it just me or does anyone else always have way too much leftover Halloween candy after October 31st? I never want to be the house in the neighborhood to run out of candy on Halloween so I probably bought more than needed in the past. But all the sugar and artificial ingredients in Halloween candy has major affects on our health (and our kids!). That’s why I decided to hand out non-candy treats for Halloween this year. I created these free printable Halloween mini coloring books that you can download from my digital library (get access below or check your latest email from me if you are a subscriber). These are so easy to make and all the kids on your block will not be disappointed!
These printable mini coloring books have 8 pages with different Halloween images. The “cover” of the book can be printed on white card stock or another fun color for Halloween.
How to Make the Mini Coloring Book:
- Download the PDF
- Print page 1 & 2 front and back and fit to page
- Print page 3 (which is 2 copies of the cover), Use cardstock for best durability.
- Cut each page out, leaving fold in the middle
- Use a paper cutter or scissors to cut the ends if the pages are not even
- Open the book and staple the middle
Bam! You just created an awesome Halloween treat that kids are sure to love (and won’t cause cavities!).
I used several different colors of card stock for the cover and my kids were loving them! Pair these with a couple crayons and you have a super cute (and sugar-free) treat!
